Herman D. Farrell, Jr. Policy Leader Award Nomination

The Herman D. Farrell Jr. Policy Leader Award honors a dedicated and highly-respected public servant who serves as the New York State Assembly representative for District 71.
Since 1974, Assemblyman Farrell has been a tireless advocate for affordable housing, education and the environment, and was the original author of the Neighborhood Preservation Program legislation.
This award will be presented to a state or local government official who has worked to create and/or preserve affordable housing and helped spur neighborhood revitalization.
The selected recipient will demonstrate, through their activities, a commitment to improving the lives of low-and-moderate income individuals and families, and will be presented as part of our 2017 Housing Is Infrastructure conference luncheon
